Should You Use Microsoft Paint Cocreator with Dall-E AI?

Hey, what’s up?

Today, I wanted to share my experience with Microsoft Paint CoCreator with DALL-E.

If you didn’t know, Microsoft is adding DALL-E 3 to Microsoft Paint. The basic editing app available on every Windows computer.
To access to Microsoft Paint Cocreator, you simply need the latest version of the software on your Windows machine by going to the store.

1- EXPERIMENTAL & CREDITS

It is called Microsoft Paint Cocreated, and it is currently in experimental phase. If you gain access to it, you only have 50 non-refundable credits. Once you’re done using these credits, you can no longer use it. I’m assuming this is temporary until they release it officially.

2- COMMERCIAL USE?

I can’t say if we have commercial use to use the images coming from Microsoft Paint CoCreator. The Terms of service website seem to be currently broken. I don’t know if it’s just me. I also can’t seem to find the information online. If this works for you, please let me know.

3- MY EXPERIENCE

Now, that I went through all the important information, IS IT GOOD?
Well, you’ve probably seen the title at this point. I had a bad experience with it.

To be completely honest, I do not recommend it. I have a very hard time believing that they use the same DALL-E model.

It’s pretty straightforward. You enter your prompt there and can choose a style.
I find the style options okay. But in reality, I think that if you want a certain style, you can simply add it to your prompt.

During my testing using the same command between Microsoft Paint and Microsoft Designer, they were major differences with the results. Microsoft Paint always seems much more simplistic and ugly compared to Microsoft Designer.

I’m not sure how to really explain this. I’m thinking that since this is a cloud service. Maybe they’re simply going easy with the AI generator that is going to be available able on Windows machines.

I also tested different styles, but they all seemed kind of bad.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, should you use Microsoft Paint CoCreator? No, not at all, unless they change it in the future. Try to get DALL-E 3 from elsewhere.
You can get in Copilot, Designer, Bing Image creator, ChatGPT

So that’s pretty much it, I hope this was helpful to you. If this blog was valuable to you, you could consider following me on social media and if you have any thoughts or comments, you can leave them below.
